Barrie McCorkle has had an extensive career in the Consumer Electronics industry spanning nearly 30 years. The majority of his career was spent at a Colorado based audio/video company where he wore literally every hat imaginable in an independently owned business before becoming VP and co-owner. After leaving his company in 2007, he spent five years as Director of Membership for one of the countries largest buying groups. Here he helped companies succeed through business consultation, training, and guidance of best practices. After that, Barrie earned another VP role at a wildly successful startup software company.
During his career, Barrie has dedicated his life to making a difference wherever he can. He has a passion for helping others succeed and is happy to give time where he can. He has been an active volunteer with CEDIA, the Custom Electronics Design and Integration Association. and even co-authored their Certified Outreach Instructor (COI) Train-the-Trainer program. He has been a certified COI and was a member of Nationwide's elite team of trainers.
